Siliguri, 08th May: One youth was killed, while another youth is seriously injured in a road accident in the Shiv Mandir area of Siliguri, on Saturday.
According to the information received, both the youths were riding towards Bagdogra on a motorcycle at high speed without wearing helmets. The bike lost control near Shiv Mandir and hit a divider. Both the youths sustained severe head injuries, due to which a died on the spot. Following this, the locals informed the police about the incident.
Upon receiving the news, Matigara police reached the spot and recovered the body. The body is sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem. Meanwhile, the injured is admitted to the same hospital. The police are investigating the whole incident.
