Rajganj, 01st August: A woman was killed while the other was seriously injured when a wall of a warehouse collapsed in Anakapalli of Fulbari No. 1 Gram Panchayat. The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Meherun Nessa and the injured as 70-year-old Pashmina Khatoon.
As per the report, a part of the wall fell over their house around 11 pm late Friday night. Later, after hearing the screams of the elderly Pashmina Khatoon, the locals rushed to the spot and rescued the duo from the debris.

In this regard, the BDO said that he too had asked the warehouse owner to look into the feeble wall, a few days ago. BDO Sherpa also accused the owner of failing to listen to his advice. He added that a notice will be sent to the owner, today, asking to break down the wall.
District-in-Council member Debashish Pramanik added that the information about the entire incident has been given to the MLA and Tourism Minister of the area. A police complaint will also be lodged at the police station demanding the arrest of the owner.
