Rajganj, 10th March: On Sunday, a one-day football tournament has been organized under the initiative of Canal More Byabsayee Samiti in the grounds of Bania para Primary School adjacent to Sahudangi of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat under Rajganj block.
The event was officially inaugurated by Padma Shri awardee Karimul Haque. During this, social workers Byomkesh Roy, Rajesh Roy, Badal Roy and others were present.
Reportedly, eight teams have participated in the tournament from various locations. The winners will be rewarded with champions’ trophy, runners-up trophy, fair-play trophy along with the cash prize.
