North Front Railway Pensioners Association protests demanding improvement in health system 

Siliguri, 23rd November: The North Front Railway Pensioners Association has started a movement demanding improvement in the health system. Today, on behalf of the organization, a memorandum was also handed over to the officer of the Railway Hospital in regard to their demand.


Bimalendu Chakraborty, Joint Secretary of the North Front Railway Pensioners Association, said that the health system of NJP Railway Hospital has tumbled. The doctors are not appointed despite the posts being vacant, and adding to the worsening health system the essential medicines are also not available at the hospital. He further said they would launch a bigger agitation if the said problem is not resolved.

At the same time, in this regard, CMS TK Manjhi of the hospital said that they are aware of the said problems and assured the matter to resolve at the earliest.
