Siliguri, 04th October: The NJP police arrested two men on the charges of robbery. The stolen e-rickshaw (Toto) has also been recovered. The arrested accused have been identified as Rakesh Chowdhury and Sanjeev Das.
It is to be noted that an e-rickshaw was stolen from the Shaktigarh area on September 22. Based on the allegations, the NJP police launched investigations and arrested the duo on October 1. After interrogating them, the stolen toto was successfully recovered.
According to police sources, the duo has various past criminal records. An investigation has been launched to get hold of the other gang members.
