Siliguri, 11th June: The NJP Police arrested three miscreants who had gathered for the purpose of robbery. The arrested accused have been identified as Vijay Paswan, Prem Kumar Debnath, and Ujjwal Mahanta.
The police, based on a tip-off, launched operations at the Madani Bazar area and arrested three men while the others managed to escape the scene. Several sharp weapons were seized from their possession. The three were sent to Jalpaiguri court on Friday.
