Naxalbari, 28th September: The Naxalbari police arrested a youth with brown sugar, on Monday night. The arrested accused has been identified as Bimal Ghosh alias Lalu.
It has been learned that the police, acting on a tip-off, launched operations at the Kotiajote area of Naxalbari and arrested a youth with 34 grams of brown sugar.
According to police sources, the market value of the recovered brown sugar is around Rs 50,000. The arrested individual was sent to Siliguri court today.
