Rajganj, 04th December: Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy laid the foundation stone for the construction of the idol of Goddess Kali and a temple. The project is being carried out under the initiative of Ambari Young Star Club under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block.
During this, Purnima Roy President of Rajganj Panchayat Samiti, Surjit Pal President of Industry Association, Tushar Dutt Deputy President of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat, Dr Swapan Roy and other members of the club were present.
In this regard, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy said that on the initiative of Ambari Young Star Club, for the first time, a 21 arms-length tall idol of Kali is being built in Rajganj. “It feels good to be a part of his foundation ceremony,” Roy added.
