Rajganj, 24th July: Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy has been designated as the Chairman of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) Jalpaiguri district. After taking charge on Friday, he interacted with the party workers and supporters and stated that his primary aim is to resolve party conflict and strengthen the organization.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, on Thursday, announced a major reshuffle in the party’s organization. She formed a fresh 21-member state committee and a 7-member core panel.
During the felicitation programme, the newly appointed Chairman stated that his first task is to settle party quarrels and prepare for the forthcoming assembly elections. He added that misunderstandings or differences in opinion are common. Ignoring such issues, their main goal should be to work in an organized manner and win the next assembly elections.
