Rajganj, 13th December: A distressing incident surfaced from the Bhugurivita area in Sannyasikata of Rajganj block where the body of a minor 17-year-old girl was found hanging from the noose. The deceased minor has been identified as Bijli Sultana.
According to reports, Bijli was an 11th-grade student at Fulbari High School. She was last seen on Tuesday afternoon studying in her room like every other day. However, when the family had not heard from her in a long time, they entered her room and found her lifeless body hanging from the noose.
Subsequently, the Rajganj police station was then informed of the incident. The police promptly arrived at the scene and took the body into custody based on information. On Wednesday, the body was transported to Jalpaiguri for an autopsy. Meanwhile, the police are engaged in a further investigation of the incident.
