Rajganj, 07th December: A memorial meeting and blood donation camp were organized on the second death anniversary of Ulen Roy, the BJP worker who was martyred in the Uttar Kanya campaign on 07th December 2020.
Reportedly today, a blood donation camp was organized at his residence at Mantadari, Rajganj under the aegis of BJP’s Tapashili Morcha and in collaboration with Siliguri Terai Blood Bank. BJP workers and supporters donated blood in the said camp.
BJP leaders said that on 7th December 2020, the Uttar Kanya campaign was called against various anti-people policies of the state government. BJP worker Ulen Roy was then martyred in a bullet fired by the police during the campaign. A memorial meeting and blood donation camp were organized today in his memory.
BJP State Working Committee member Dipen Pramanik, BJP Jalpaiguri District President Bapi Goswami, Tapashili Morcha District President Akhil Sarkar, Rajganj Block President Nitai Mandal, and many others were present during this.
