Memorandum issued to secretary of Siliguri Regulated Market Committee on problems faced by traders

Siliguri, 03rd August: Social activist Dilip Barman and 20 traders of the regulated market submitted a memorandum to Tamal Das, secretary of Siliguri Regulated Market Committee, demanding a solution to the problems being faced by traders in Siliguri Regulated Market.


In this regard, Dilip Barman said that 54 people were provided shops in the regulated market in 1993. Out of the total, 20 have not received the contract yet. As a result, the traders are being deprived of various facilities.

He added that Tamal Das, secretary of the Siliguri Regulated Market Committee, assured them that the case hearing will be held soon which will solve their problems.
