Kharibari, 27th February: New Jalpaiguri Yuva Bharati Voluntary Organization organized a medical camp at Dharmalal Singh Madhyamik Shiksha Kendra in Tarijo, a remote rural area of Kharibari.
Hundreds of people got their health examined today. Diabetes tests, blood tests as well as new clothes and food items were distributed in the camp.
In this regard, the secretary of the club Jayanta Dey said that today’s camp has been organized at the request of the members of the local tribal development council.
On the other hand, Radha Munda, leader of Adivasi Bikash Parishad, said that an appeal was made to Seva Bharati Sanstha to provide medical services to the rural people. Following which, the initiative was taken.
