Siliguri, 30th March: Trinamool Congress’ recently announced Matigara-Naxalbari assembly constituency candidate Rajen Sundas filed his nomination papers before the SDO today in Siliguri.
A grand procession accompanied Sundas where hundreds of party activists were present, including Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President Ranjan Sarkar, Hill Trinamool leader Shanta Chhetri, TMC’s ally party Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) leader Vishal Chhetri.
The TMC supporters chanted the party’s battle, ‘Khela Hobe,’ while swinging and dancing to the beat of the drums. Addressing the media, Ranjan Sarkar stated that TMC will once again win in Bengal.
