Siliguri, 23rd October: The Siliguri branch of Marwari Yuva Manch visited the ‘Apna Ghar’ old age home today, keeping the Durga Puja festival in mind and enjoyed the celebration with the elderly.
Saris, dhoti and pant shirts for men were presented on behalf of the organization. Along with this, delicious delicacy was arranged for the elders by the Marwari Yuva Manch.
Branch president Yuva Gopal Sharma maintained that every year, the organization used to take the elders on a tour to visit all Puja pandals in the city but this year, keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic, the programme was suspended. Hence, they visited the old age home and celebrated the Durga Utsav.
Treasurer Dipesh Murarka, Manoj Agarwal, Ashu Agarwal, Ganesh Jindal, Vishal Jain, Lalit Agarwal were present during this occasion.
