Rajganj, 02nd November: A man was injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the road near Fatapukur Traffic More in Rajganj on Sunday night. The injured man has been identified as Santosh Lama, a local resident.
According to local sources, Santosh Lama was heading from his home to a shop on the opposite side of the road when a vehicle struck him. The vehicle fled the scene immediately after the accident. However, its identity and type have not yet been ascertained.
Following the incident, local residents rushed to his aid and took him to Rajganj Rural Hospital in Mogradangi. After receiving initial treatment, he was referred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for further medical care.
