Rajganj, 07th August: A man died in a deadly road accident that took place in Fulbari Bazar area, late Friday night.
According to local sources, at around 10.30 pm, a goods vehicle ran into the said person in the Fulbari Bazar area of the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway and crushed him to death.
Upon receiving the news, the New Jalpaiguri police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. Meanwhile, the locals demanded a proper traffic system and to station traffic police on the road in the area to avoid such untoward incidents. Police are probing the entire incident.
