Siliguri, 23rd February: A fire broke out at a godown in the Ashighar Naresh More area near Siliguri.
According to local sources, the incident took place around 5 am on Wednesday. The blaze first came to the notice of the security guards following which, they immediately informed the fire brigade and Ashighar outpost.
Upon receiving the news, three fire engines reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. Several damages were reported in the incident. It has been primarily assumed that the fire broke out due to a short circuit. Police are investigating the whole incident.
