Rajganj, 06th May: A sand-laden lorry and a freight vehicle collided at the Fulbari Battalion More, on Thursday. The driver of the freight truck was rescued with the help of locals after the incident. However, no one was severely injured.
According to local sources, the truck was heading towards Jalpaiguri from Siliguri, during which, it collided head-on with a sand-laden lorry at the said area. Upon receiving the news, the NJP police reached the spot shortly after and detained both the vehicles.
