Siliguri, 22nd June: Preparations for the upcoming Rath Yatra, set for 7th July, commenced on Saturday with the bathing rituals of Lord Jagannath at the Sri Sri Radha Gobindo Temple in Bidhan Market, Siliguri.
The bathing festival saw Lord Jagannath, Balaram, and Subhadra Devi ceremoniously bathed with a mixture of fruit juices, ghee, honey, sugar, and curd. Many devotees gathered at the temple to witness and participate in the auspicious occasion.
