Less Talk, More Work: BJP march in Siliguri demanding speedy implementation of second drinking water project

Siliguri, 22nd February: After a massive win in the election, the Trinamool Congress has formed the board in Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The swearing-in program was also held today. As soon as swearing-in as the city’s new mayor, Goutam Deb talked about making Siliguri a new and advanced city. 
Meanwhile, a rally was taken out on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of MLA Shankar Ghosh from Venus More (Hashmi Chowk) demanding complete development of the city. This rally concluded at Venus More via Sevoke Road. The demonstrators shouted “Less Talk, More Work” slogans during the rally.
Addressing the media, MLA Shankar Ghosh congratulated all the councillors of the Municipal Corporation and the new board of Trinamool Congress. While extending his wishes to the Mayor, Ghosh said, “Trinamool Congress had been dreaming of forming its own board in the corporation for a long time. They have succeeded in doing so this year. So this time Trinamool Congress should develop the city.”
