Leopard’s body recovered from Bhatpara Tea Garden drain

Kalchini, 04th January: The body of a leopard has been recovered from the Bhatpara Tea Garden drain in the Kalchini block. The workers of the Tea Garden sighted the body of the leopard in the drain of the Tea Garden’s Section No. 28 and reported it to the Forest Department. Upon receiving the news of the incident, the forest personnel from the Pana Range reached the spot and recovered the body of the leopard. The Forest Department is currently investigating the reason behind the leopard’s death.
