Fulbari, 07th October: A day-long search for a leopard in Fulbari’s Putimari area ended with forest officials rescuing a cat on Tuesday night, bringing relief to residents who had been gripped by leopard fears.
The leopard scare began in the morning, with news of a possible sighting drawing crowds to the area. Forest personnel from the Ambari Range conducted searches throughout the day, while a large number of curious residents gathered at the spot.
The search continued from morning until around 10 pm, when forest personnel eventually rescued a cat. The unusual outcome of the operation sparked amusement among locals.
Residents had remained concerned for several hours over reports of a leopard sighting. After the search ended late at night, normalcy returned to the area, while the cat rescue became the main topic of discussion among locals.
