Siliguri, 30th January: The National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Kailash Vijayvargiya, launched a campaign, today, in support of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) at Bidhan Market in Siliguri. During the event, he also held a meeting at the office of the Vyavasayi Samiti.
Kailash Vijayvargiya explained the CAA to the traders. He also informed the traders that some political parties are misleading the common people regarding the CAA. He further informed that the CAA was not taking away citizenship, but was rather providing citizenship.
He further alleged that the people opposing the CAA were conducting unconstitutional works.
