Siliguri, 20th July: Hundreds of candidates from various districts of North Bengal, including Malda, Mathabhanga, Kishanganj and Balurghat, came to Siliguri to take the JEE Main of the National Testing Agency. Meanwhile, as the local trains are suspended due to the ongoing pandemic, examinees and guardians faced numerous problems.
On the other hand, many reached Siliguri late Monday night. With no hotel bookings, they were forced to wait outside the test centre itself the whole night. Candidates were allowed to enter the centre following COVID-19 safety measures. Special attention was also paid to maintain social distance and wearing masks.
