Siliguri, 08th January: On Monday, Jalpaiguri MP Jayanta Roy visited the NJP Railway Station to inspect the quality and work progress. It is to be noted that the central government has taken the initiative to transform the NJP Railway Station into a world-class station and the largest in North-East India.
According to reports, the MP took stock of all the work outside the Railway Station. The MP was accompanied by Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Shikha Chatterjee, DRM Surendra Kumar, Chief Architect of Railways, and other officials.
Speaking in this regard, the MP emphasized that the area will witness a major transformation after the completion of the work.
