Jaldapara National Park reopens after three-month closure

Alipurduar, 16th September: Jaldapara National Park has reopened to tourists today after being closed for three months.


Starting Monday, visitors are once again welcomed into the forest, marking the return of popular activities such as vehicle safaris and elephant safaris.

Following the reopening, a large crowd of tourists gathered at the park to enjoy the safaris. Forest workers greeted the visitors at the Jaldapara gate.


Notably, the number of elephants available for the Jaldapara elephant safari has increased this season. Elephant safaris have also resumed from Hollong and Salkumar gates within the park.
