Siliguri, 28th February: Indian cricketer Richa Ghosh’s father was allegedly attacked by a group of drunken youths, on Saturday night. The incident surfaced from the Siliguri Subhash Pally area.
Allegedly, the incident occurred when Richa’s father Manabendra Ghosh raised voice against some drunken youths who were disputing under their residence on late Saturday night.
The youths allegedly attacked him and also vandalized one of their cars parked under the house. Following this, Manabendra Ghosh lodged a complaint at the Siliguri police station.
The Siliguri police have launched an investigation into the incident.
