Rajganj, 15th August: On the 75th Independence Day of the country, a boat race was organized in front of Gajoldoba Bhorer Alo in Rajganj block. The competition was organized on behalf of CRPF, ITBP, BSF, and NCC paramilitary forces. Several army jawans participated in this competition on the Teesta Canal.
An army official said “Independence Day is not just a celebration of the army. It is a celebration of the entire nation.” The Chief of Army Staff conveyed a message to the Yuva Samaj to use their talents as well as focus on fitness and regular sports to protect the country.
