Jalpaiguri, 31st October: A large crowd gathered outside a post office in Jalpaiguri for Aadhaar card corrections, information updates and Aadhaar enrolment for children. The queue stretched from the post office to nearby roads.
Some people had reportedly been waiting since 3 AM, while others arrived at 4 AM. Personnel from Kotwali Police Station were deployed at the site.
Although the post office usually opens at 10 AM, token distribution began at 8 AM through six counters.
People complained about recurring difficulties and demanded faster service and better queue management.
