Siliguri, 12th May: Under the initiative of the Hill Cart Road Vyavasayi Samiti and the assistance of the municipality officials, special sanitization measures commenced in the city’s closed shops and the footpath areas to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus.
In this context, disinfectants and sanitizers were sprayed in Siliguri Hashmi Chowk, Hill cart road, MG Chowk (Air View More), and various other areas.
Samiti Secretary Sanat Bhowmick stated that the municipality officials sanitized all the closed shops today and further praised the Siliguri Municipal Corporation for adopting enough initiatives to deal with the pandemic.
