Cooch Behar, 23rd September: Various areas in Jalpaiguri have been submerged under rainwater due to continuous heavy downpour since Tuesday night. Rainwater entering the residential areas added more to the concern.
Reportedly, Jalpaiguri’s Ward No. 25 has been completely inundated by rain. Around 400-500 houses in the area are waterlogged. Rescue works are underway.
