Siliguri, 03rd December: Gorkha Janmukti Morcha leader Bimal Gurung is likely to hold a public meeting in Siliguri Indira Gandhi Maidan on December 06.
During a press conference at the Siliguri Journalists Club, Vishal Chhetri, vice-president of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (Bimal faction), said that this time Gurung will be staying in Siliguri for a while. He stated that in the last Lok Sabha polls, BJP obtained a good number of votes in North Bengal with the assistance of Bimal Gurung. Hence, this time, to help TMC win, the Morcha leaders have targetted North Bengal.
He further said that the public meeting on December 06 will be held in accordance with all rules and regulations. Around 1.5 lakh people are expected to attend this meeting.
