Siliguri, 08th February: Bengal Minister and Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim arrived in Siliguri on Tuesday to campaign for the upcoming SMC poll which will be held on February 12.
This evening, he held a meeting in Ward No. 06 in the presence of Goutam Deb and District Trinamool President Papiya Ghosh. Trinamool candidates of wards 04, 05, 06, 07, and 09 were also present.
Firhad Hakim also held a Sabha in support of the candidates of wards 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 at the YMA ground. He took a jibe at BJP and CPIM and said “If TMC is given a chance, lots of development will be done.”
Furthermore, he claimed, “BJP will lose the next Lok Sabha elections just as they have lost in the state.”
