Siliguri, 06th January: In another significant breakthrough, the cops of Bhakti Nagar police station successfully apprehended another individual in connection with the robbery of a girl who sought a lift in Siliguri. The accused has been identified as Totan Chanda.
It is to be noted that, on December 8, an incident of robbery surfaced where a girl seeking for lift in Siliguri was looted. Later, a complaint was filed at the police station.
Based on the complaint, on January 2, Bhakti Nagar police apprehended two accused in connection with the case. Upon further interrogation of the accused, the police arrested the third accused from Alipurduar. On Saturday, the police produced the accused before the Jalpaiguri Court for legal proceedings.
