Fulbari, 12th March: The iron railing of the divider on the road has gaps, leading to frequent accidents in Fulbari.
As per reports, multiple cuts in the iron railing of the divider can be seen along the Asian Highway 2 road from Fulbari to Chunavati. To avoid detours, citizens are crossing the road through these openings, resulting in several minor and major accidents.
Ujjal Rahman, a teacher and resident of Fulbari, stated that there are around ten to twelve such cuts between Fulbari and Chunavati, posing a constant risk to commuters. Even on Wednesday, a woman was seriously injured while crossing through one of these gaps.
He further mentioned that locals had previously attempted to seal the openings with iron on their own initiative. However, some unscrupulous businessmen in the area allegedly continue to cut the railings.
Residents are urging the administration to take immediate action and close these gaps to prevent further accidents.
