Siliguri, 28th June: The undercover police of Pradhan Nagar police station arrested four men with a large quantity of illegal country spirits and liquor by campaigning in hotels under the said police station area. The accused have been identified as Mantosh Kumar Mandal (28), Mahavir Mahto (60), Devendra Singh (51), and Rakesh Pal (40).
Reportedly, the police received a tip regarding the illegal sale of liquor inside hotels and launched a campaign. During this, the police seized spirits and liquor worth about 60 thousand rupees and arrested four men in connection to the matter. Today, all accused were presented in the Siliguri court.
