Nagrakata, 16th February: The 11th Foundation Day of Yuma Manghim Mandir in Looksan was celebrated with much zeal and enthusiasm, on Sunday.
The event was organized by the Limbu Subba Development Committee. People from the Limbu sect hailing from the neighboring states Sikkim, Bhutan, as well as different areas of Dooars, arrived to celebrate the fest. In the entire state of West Bengal, the temple of the Limbu Subba sect is established only in Dooars. The temple was established in 2009.
According to Jetha Subba, President of the Organizing Committee and Limbu Subba Development Committee, the 11th Foundation Day of Yuma Manghim Mandir was celebrated with pomp today. He mentioned that people from different places have gathered to celebrate the festival. Also, various programmes have been organized.
