Falakata, 14th January: The eighth annual flower exhibition commenced at the Falakata Park on Tuesday under the aegis of the Horticulture Branch of the State Forest Department and Falakata Panchayat Samiti.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Suresh Lala, president of Falakata Panchayat Samiti. Departmental forest officers of the North Bengal Horticulture Branch were also present.
Around 100 contestants participated in the flower show. Arrangements of prizes have also been made in the fair by the Forest Department.
