Siliguri, 26th May: A family in Siliguri has stepped forward to feed several needy people under the campaign ‘Family Kitchen’, amid the second wave of the pandemic.
Many people are unemployed due to the current government guidelines. As a result, they are struggling to make ends meet. In view of this, Deepika Roy, Pritam Roy, Bhagyalipi Roy, and several other members of their family have taken the initiative to arrange at least one meal for these helpless people. Today is the fourth day of their programme.
The Family Kitchen is delivering homemade food to around 150 people every day. They said to continue their programme till May 30. Pritam Roy said that many people highly praised the initiative taken and are supporting their work.
