Siliguri, 15th September: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) took to the streets on Tuesday with a demand to provide jobs to the unemployed.
Apart from the entire state, DYFI, on Tuesday, staged a rally in Siliguri demanding jobs for the unemployed. Several youth supporters from different parts of the district joined the rally.
Reportedly, the rally commenced from Siliguri’s Kanchenjunga Stadium and concluded at MG More (Airview more).
Saurashish Roy, district secretary of the organization, stated that the center and the state government are deceiving people in the name of giving jobs to the unemployed youths. As a result, the problem of unemployment has increased drastically across the country.
