Cooch Behar, 04th November: A shocking incident of mishap came unfolded in Cooch Behar where a sand-laden dumper truck plunged into the river after the bridge collapsed. The incident took place on the Nilkamal River Bridge connecting Natkobari and Sukarurkuthi in Dinhata Block No. 2, Cooch Behar.
According to reports, the local residents were awakened by a loud noise on Saturday morning. Upon arriving at the scene they found the dumper in the river along with the bridge. The bridge played a significant role in connecting two mostly navigated places in the area. With the sudden collapse, locals are terrified of unprecedented accidents as a result. The entire incident is being investigated by the police.
