Jalpaiguri, 14th June: ‘Duare vaccine’ programme started in Ward No. 01 and 02 of Jalpaiguri Municipality from Monday.
Reportedly, out of the 25 wards, the process of vaccination will continue at 13 wards under the initiative of the municipality and in the rest 12 wards under the initiative of the District health department.
Papia Paul, the chairperson of the administrative board of the municipality, said that at present, people in their 60s and the disabled will be vaccinated. She further said that at present a total of 30 people will be vaccinated at a time.
