Darjeeling, 02nd September: Seven workers were injured after the roof of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway’s toy train loco shed collapsed at Darjeeling railway station early on Wednesday morning.
Several workers were reportedly on duty inside the loco shed when the roof suddenly collapsed, injuring seven workers. While some sustained relatively minor injuries, all seven were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Other railway employees quickly began rescue operations following the incident. Railway authorities are investigating the cause of the roof collapse.
