Despite missing a hand, Siliguri’s Vishwajeet defies all odds and appears for Madhyamik exam

Siliguri, 23rd February: Siliguri’s resident and son Vishwajeet Siddha has set an example of never giving up despite any kind of hardship in life. Vishwajeet, a resident of Block B under Ward No. 34 and also a student of Valmiki Vidyapith has been appearing for his Madhyamik examination despite the great ordeal.


As per the information, one of Vishwajeet’s hands had to be amputated after he had an accident in 2020 while doing some electrical work. However, Vishwajeet did not give up on his education and faced every ordeal and challenge. He is presently appearing for his Madhyamik examination with the help of a writer. 

TMC leader Gautam Goswami and Ward No. 34 committee president Arup Chakraborty extended a helping hand to the young scholar. The duo visited Vishwajeet’s house and gave him a bouquet of flowers, a packet of sweets and a pen as a token of encouragement. Apart from this, a toto was also arranged by them so that he could reach the examination centre without any hassle.
