Siliguri, 16th November: Sensation prevailed after a dead body was recovered from the Teesta Canal in Phansidewa’s Mohammad Box area.
Reportedly, a local resident Mohammad Shahjahan sighted the body after he went fishing in the canal, this morning. Following which, he informed the Phansidewa police.
Upon receiving the news, the Phansidewa police reached the spot and recovered the body. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
