Siliguri, 23rd April: In the last 24 hours, a total of 343 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the Darjeeling district, including the Siliguri municipal area and parts of Jalpaiguri. This is the highest number of cases recorded in the past few days.
According to the information received, 177 COVID-19 cases have been reported from Siliguri municipal area, 10 from Darjeeling municipality, 16 from Sukna, 02 from Kurseong, 03 from Mirik and 01 Mirik municipality, 02 from Bijanbari, 06 from Sukhia Pokhari, 01 Takdah, 09 Kharibari, 58 from Matigara, 54 from Naxalbari and 04 from Phansidewa.
Meanwhile, 251 new cases have come to light in the last 24 hours in some parts of Jalpaiguri including Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
