Siliguri, 23rd May: A resident of the Siliguri Ward No. 4 area tested COVID-19 positive on Saturday.
As per the information, the infected person recently returned from Delhi and was staying at a relative’s house in Siliguri’s Ward No. 1.
Meanwhile, the District Health Department informed that he had undergone a swab test during his stay in Delhi which came back positive.
As soon as the report reached the District Health office today, the youth was admitted to the Matigara COVID-19 hospital. Besides, all his family members have been quarantined and the administration is trying to trace the ones who had come in contact with him.
