Siliguri, 10th November: A blood donation camp has been jointly organized by COVID-19 Network and Siliguri Metropolitan Police. They aim to collect 150 units of blood during the camp.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by DCP Headquarters Joy Tudu. COVID-19 Network members Dr. Kalyan Kha, Anirban Roy, and Dr. Sandeep Sengupta, Siliguri Police Commissioner Tripurari Arthabv ACP Chinmoy Mittal were also present.
The commissioner said that such an initiative has been taken to prevent blood crisis in various hospitals due to the ongoing pandemic. He also urged all to refrain from bursting firecrackers, this Diwali and Chhath Puja following the instructions of the Calcutta High court.
