Jalpaiguri, 09th April: With the assistance of the State Government, the construction work of the first COVID-19 Hospital in the Jalpaiguri Biswa Bangla Krirangan is going on in full swing. Around 80 % of the work has been completed.
Jalpaiguri District Health Department official Ramendranath Pramanik, Hospital Superintendent Gayaram Naskara and several doctors of the hospital inspected the construction work on Thursday and also held a discussion with the engineers to keep a check on the work quality.
As per the sources, medical facilities like dialysis and ventilation will be available in the newly built hospital. Primarily, a 100-bed isolation ward will be set up inside the hospital. According to the health department, the hospital will be inaugurated on April 13.
